Jeff Buckley

A number of Jeff Buckley albums have been released since his tragic death in 1997, when his body was so tragically lost to the undercurrent of the Mississippi River.  Among them, Sketches for My Sweetheart the Drunk was released in 1998 – a collection of songs he was working on at the time of his death.  The album includes studio recordings and demos. While Songs to No One 1991-1992 was a collection of recordings of Jeff Buckley’s collaboration with Gary Lucas, released in 2002

Then there’s live recordings too.  Most notable Grace Around The World, a CD + DVD set) including the much acclaimed hour-long documentary about Jeff Buckley called Amazing Grace: Jeff Buckley in 2009 and the Live at L’olympia concert.

But with such a cult following and limited scraps to feed on, the announcement of a new Jeff Buckley album of previously unreleased studio demos will be welcome news to fans all over the world.

You and I will include a previously unreleased song, Dream of You and I, as well as eight covers and the first ever recording of Grace.
