Brooklyn based hardcore punkers Gay For Johhny Depp have announced their second album What Doesn’t Kill You, Eventually Kills You will be released through Shinebox Recordings on February 14th, accompanied by a UK promotion tour.

In something of a Valentines Day massacre of the braincells, the release brims with electro fury and has been described as an update on the fierce GFJD sound, being ‘faster, meaner, rawer, leaner’ than previously.

When asked for comment on the sound of the new album, the band replied in typically snide fashion: “The record is the sound of children being thrown from a carney carousel. A caffeinated, incorporated cog in the machinery…naked aggressive, nightly news-ish and stress related.  Album of the Year (1989).”
